Holland America Lines and Princess Cruises last docked in Israel in 2000. They suspended their operations because of the deteriorating situation with Palestine.
The first liner is expected to arrive next April. The Tourism Ministry expect visitor numbers to increase by some 13,000 bringing a much needed cash injection of US$5.5 million to the tourist market.
