The five times a week service will fly from Dubai to Venice on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday’ Saturday and Sunday from July 2007. Emirates will increase this to a daily service from September of next year.
This is the first non-stop connection between the East and Veniceand is expected to produce a significant increase in tourist and commercial traffic between the Dubai and Europe. It will also boost Dubai’s reputation as a rapidly growing transport hub.
Flight EK135 is scheduled to depart Dubai at 09:45 hours, arriving in Venice at 14:15 hours on the same day. The return flight EK136 will leave Venice at 15:45 hours, arriving in Dubai at 23:35 hours that same evening.
Emirates Airline already operates daily scheduled flights from Dubai to Rome and Milan.
