Royal Jordanian Airlines announces two new routes from the Middle East country to Europe and North America.

Jordan’s national airline, Royal Jordanian Airlines, has announced the launch of two new routes from the capital Amman in 2007.


The national carrier plans to commence scheduled flights from Amman to Montreal in Canada and the Hungarian capital of Budapestin June. The airline will then have scheduled flights to 54 destinations.

The Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan has also announced plans to sell 74% of it’s share in Royal Jordanian Airlines next year.

The government will retain a 26% stake in the airline and is restricting the sale of shares to non Jordanian investors to a maximum of 49%.
