It's north and West of Amman.
It's in the North of Amman and the Jordan Valley section of my new Globetrotter Guide to Jordan. It's an excellent Castle. When I was there last June I met a Jordanian family. The daughter was about 12 and had been learning English at school. Naturally she accosted me to indulge in a spot of practice. The custodian was a relative so she knew the place well and took great delight in showing me round. Then we all had a cup of tea.
