Fair enough but are you aware that the Council Chambers in George Square Glasgow has often appeared as the Kremlin in movies?

Hugh:
I put my vote in for Petra, because
a)Although I live only a couple of miles from Stonehenge, it's a mess ... and it's likely to remain so, if the local protest groups get their way and
b)The Pyramids are a mess ... the Department of Antiquities really need to do something about all the hawkers and peddlers. At least, there's less horse-manure and camel-crap around than when we visited in 1997.
Petra, we had almost to ourselves ... but that was probably something to do with the imminent invasion of Iraq; maybe things have changed now?

Petra gets my vote too Keith. There is just something about it that hits a chord.

I could easily have voted for all five of the choices in your poll, since each has a claim, I think. But I would have put the Mayan city of Tikal high on the list.
