I have just received a book to review for Cambridge University Press, it is The Great Pyramid Ancient Egypt Revisited by John Romer...have you heard of or read anything by this author?

Haven't read any of John Romer's books, but I've seen a few TV programmes he's presented. Good stuff!

More hotels should follow the example of the Amman Marriott.

I'll need to dig out my notes to get the name of the restaurant we ate at near Jerash ... but the proprietor's brothers are all farmers, so everything is organic and fresh.
